| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Mamaea facing right, depicted with elaborately coiffed hair arranged in waves, the drapery visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Lydian mint at Tripolis. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field. |

| Reverse description | The river god Maeandros personified as a reclining male figure turned to the left, holding a cornucopia in one arm and resting his elbow upon an overturned vase from which water flows, symbolising the river's source. A palm branch rises behind the figure. The composition is a standard provincial type for the Maeander river, rendered in the hammered bronze tradition of Asian Greek civic coinage. The encircling legend identifies the issuing city and the deity depicted. |
