The youthful imperial effigy displays characteristic short-cropped hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor by his titulature. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of provincial bronze issues of this period. |
