The effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath clearly distinguishing the imperial portrait. The surrounding legend in Greek characters identifies the emperor by his full titulature. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily worn, as is common for high-denomination Alexandrian bronzes of this period. |

The date regnal legend L Κ (Year 20) appears in the field. The reverse type is a celebrated Alexandrian motif celebrating the annual inundation upon which Egypt's prosperity depended. |
