The portrait conveys the mature, bearded visage of the emperor as conventionally represented on Alexandrian provincial coinage of his later regnal years. |

| Descripción del reverso | Draped bust of the ram-horned deity Ammon facing right, surmounted by a solar disk atop the head, rendered in the syncretic Graeco-Egyptian tradition that merges Zeus-Ammon iconography with Egyptian divine attributes. The voluminous curling ram's horn is prominently displayed against the left side of the face, and the bust exhibits a full, flowing beard.
