| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius facing left, draped with paludamentum over the left shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian style, with a broad, fleshy face and a well-defined laurel wreath. The Greek imperial legend runs around the periphery of the flan, partially visible due to the irregular striking. The portrait conveys the mature, bearded visage of the emperor as conventionally represented on Alexandrian provincial coinage of his later regnal years. |

| Reverse description | Draped bust of the ram-horned deity Ammon facing right, surmounted by a solar disk atop the head, rendered in the syncretic Graeco-Egyptian tradition that merges Zeus-Ammon iconography with Egyptian divine attributes. The voluminous curling ram's horn is prominently displayed against the left side of the face, and the bust exhibits a full, flowing beard. The regnal year legend L ΙΖ (year 17) is disposed in the field to either side of the deity's bust, serving as the principal dating element of this Alexandrian issue. |
