| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing left, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The emperor is depicted with his characteristic full beard and mature features rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style. The obverse legend runs around the periphery, partially legible on this worn specimen. The flan is notably irregular with uneven edges, typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Tyche-Euthenia standing facing, head turned to left, holding ears of corn in her right hand and a rudder in her left. To the left, the forepart of a sailing ship is depicted, below which the personification of Thalassa (the Sea) reclines. To the right, the stern of a ship is shown, below which the god Nilus reclines holding a rudder. The composition celebrates the maritime prosperity and agricultural abundance of Alexandria, combining the city's tutelary deity with symbolic references to the Nile and Mediterranean trade. |
