She holds a long rudder in her extended hand, symbolising her governance over fate and navigation. The figural composition is set within a rectangular border formed by parallel incuse lines, a compositional device common to Alexandrian provincial bronzes. Above the scene, in the upper field, the Greek regnal date legend L ΙΘ (Year 19) is prominently inscribed. |
