| Obverse description | Laureate, nude bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, with an aegis draped over the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The portrait displays the characteristic strong features of Trajan with a wreath of laurel leaves crowning the head. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy, reading from left to right along the periphery of the flan. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of fortune and patron deity of Alexandria, depicted reclining to the left upon a lectisternium — a cushioned ceremonial couch — her body gracefully recumbent with drapery partially covering her lower form. She holds a long rudder in her extended hand, symbolising her governance over fate and navigation. The figural composition is set within a rectangular border formed by parallel incuse lines, a compositional device common to Alexandrian provincial bronzes. Above the scene, in the upper field, the Greek regnal date legend L ΙΘ (Year 19) is prominently inscribed. |
