| Descrizione del rovescio | The iconic xoanon-type cult statue of Artemis Ephesia stands facing, rendered frontally in the hieratic tradition associated with her great sanctuary at Ephesus. The goddess wears the characteristic kalathos (cylindrical crown) atop her head and is depicted in the multi-breasted form with lateral supports flanked by stags on either side.
