| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a presentation style characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The die work reflects the provincial engraving tradition of Magnesia ad Maeandrum, with somewhat summary but competent modeling of the portrait. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The three Charites (Graces) depicted standing frontally in a close group at the center of the field, rendered as draped female figures with arms entwined in the conventional grouping associated with this divine triad. The figures stand on a ground line, their drapery rendered in broad, flowing folds typical of provincial die-cutting of the Severan and post-Severan periods. The encircling Greek legend, distributed around the periphery of the field, identifies the issuing magistrate and the civic authority. The composition closely follows the canonical iconography of the Three Graces as employed on civic bronzes of Ionian cities under the Roman Empire. |
