| Descrição do anverso | Youthful laureate and draped bust of the Roman Senate personified, facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with flowing hair beneath the laurel wreath. The legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) is inscribed in Greek characters around the bust within a beaded border. The effigy displays the characteristic idealized, youthful features employed in the iconography of the Senatus deity on provincial coinage of Asia Minor. The flan is irregular, typical of hammered civic bronze issues of the period. |

| Descrição do reverso | Tetrastyle temple with four columns and an arcuated (arched) lintel, rendered in frontal elevation; within the intercolumniation stands the cult statue of Aphrodite of Aphrodisias facing right, depicted in the distinctive Anatolian xoanon type with rigid, columnar form. The legend ΑΦΡΟΔΕΙϹΙΕΩΝ (of the Aphrodisians) is inscribed in Greek around the type within a beaded border. The temple reverse celebrates the celebrated sanctuary of Aphrodite, the principal civic deity of Aphrodisias, and is characteristic of the city's autonomous bronze coinage under Gallienus. |
