| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed and draped bust of Julia Maesa facing right, rendered in the provincial Roman style characteristic of Syrian mint output under the Severan dynasty. The portrait displays the empress with her hair elaborately dressed beneath a diadem, with drapery visible at the truncation.
