| 正面描述 | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Valerian facing right, viewed from the rear, the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder and the cuirass clearly rendered with decorative detail. The imperial effigy is depicted in the characteristic provincial style of the Lydian mint at Tralles, with bold, slightly stylised facial features. A beaded border encircles the design, and the Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. |

| 背面描述 | Artemis standing to right, clad in short chiton, holding a long sceptre, faces Demeter standing to left, who holds ears of corn and a poppy in one hand and a long sceptre in the other; between the two deities stands a lighted altar. The composition reflects the religious syncretism characteristic of civic coinage from Tralles in Lydia, honouring both the local cult of Artemis and the goddess Demeter. The reverse legend, divided around the field, names the local grammateus responsible for the issue. |
