| Beschrijving voorzijde | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I facing right, seen from the rear, rendered in the provincial three-quarter perspective style typical of Dacian bronzes. The emperor's effigy is encircled by a Latin legend reading IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the characteristic broad facial features associated with Philip's official iconography, with the radiate crown clearly distinguishing this as an antoninianus-influenced provincial issue. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-struck provincial coinage of the mid-third century. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The personification of Dacia, wearing a distinctive Dacian cap (pilleus), is depicted seated to the left, holding stalks of grain in one hand and two vexilla (military standards) inscribed with the numerals V and XIII, referencing the Legio V Macedonica and Legio XIII Gemina stationed in the province. Flanking the central figure are two heraldic animals: an eagle standing to the left with head turned right, holding a wreath in its beak, positioned at the left field, and a lion standing to the left occupying the right field. The encircling Latin legend reads PROVINCIA DACIA, with the dating formula AN II (Anno II) indicating the second year of the Dacian provincial era corresponding to 247–248 AD. |
