The imperial effigy is boldly modelled in high relief, consistent with the provincial workshop tradition of Cyzicus. The Greek legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan, reading clockwise from the upper left. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central sacrificial scene depicting two tall torches set upright on a low ground line, each entwined by a serpent rising in coils toward the flame; between the torches stands a lighted altar with flames issuing from its top. The composition is a well-known Cyzicene neocorate type, evoking the sacred cult practices associated with the city's imperial temple priesthood. The Greek legend encircles the field, distributed on both sides of the central devices. |
