Reverse description Central sacrificial scene depicting two tall torches set upright on a low ground line, each entwined by a serpent rising in coils toward the flame; between the torches stands a lighted altar with flames issuing from its top. The composition is a well-known Cyzicene neocorate type, evoking the sacred cult practices associated with the city's imperial temple priesthood. The Greek legend encircles the field, distributed on both sides of the central devices.
