The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The coin exhibits a suspension hole pierced at the top, indicating post-antique use as a pendant or amulet. |

The legend is distributed around the periphery with the neocorate numeral Η (8) denoting the city's eighth neocorate honour.
