| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, portrayed three-quarter from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The coin exhibits a suspension hole pierced at the top, indicating post-antique use as a pendant or amulet. |

| Reverse description | Dynamic mythological scene depicting Heracles wrestling the giant Antaeus in the center of the field, both figures rendered nude and intertwined in vigorous combat, consistent with the Labours of Heracles iconographic tradition favoured by Heraclea Pontica as its civic patron deity type. The legend is distributed around the periphery with the neocorate numeral Η (8) denoting the city's eighth neocorate honour. A suspension hole is visible at lower right, consistent with the obverse perforation. |
