| Beschrijving keerzijde | Distyle temple with two columns framing a cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus (Ephesia) standing facing, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical headdress) and the characteristic supports or lateral bands at her sides, the deity depicted in the canonical Anatolian manner. Two stags, sacred animals of Artemis, are shown flanking the figure within the temple structure. The reverse legend ΠΕΛΤΗΝΩΝ ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΩΝ in Greek characters identifies the issuing city of Peltae and invokes a claimed Macedonian ethnic heritage, a common honorific designation among Phrygian cities during the Imperial period.
