| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, portrayed with the shoulder turned away from the viewer in a rear-facing three-quarter perspective. The imperial cuirass is rendered with incised detail at the shoulder, and the laureate wreath is visible atop the youthful portrait. The encircling Greek legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by wear. The portrait style is characteristic of provincial Asian mint workmanship of the mid-third century AD. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Hygieia, goddess of health, stands to the right, extending a patera in her right hand from which she feeds a large serpent coiling upward before her. Facing her, Asclepius stands to the left, his body draped in a himation, leaning upon his serpent-entwined staff (caduceus). The two deities face one another in a composition emphasizing the healing cult prominent in the Pergamene conventus. The reverse legend, arranged in the field and around the periphery, names the local magistrate and the city of Germe. |
