The portrait shows a draped bust with the neck truncation visible at the base. The surrounding field bears the Greek imperial titulature legend distributed around the effigy. The coin exhibits the characteristic broad, slightly irregular flan typical of Bithynian provincial bronze coinage of the Julio-Claudian period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain field bearing a multi-line inscription in Greek across the reverse, recording the name and titles of the proconsul Publius Pasidienus Firmus in his second term as patron of the metropolis of the Nicomedians. The legend fills the entire reverse field and concludes with the abbreviated civic ethnic ΝΙΚΟΜΗ accompanied by a civic monogram. The reverse is purely epigraphic with no figurative devices, a common convention for civic honorific bronze issues of Bithynia under the early Principate. |
