In his left hand he holds a hawk-tipped club, an attribute associating him with Horus. A ram stands behind the deity, serving as an additional divine attribute. The date regnal formula L ΙΔ appears in the field, marking this issue to Year 14 of Hadrian's reign. The reverse composition is typical of the syncretic religious iconography favoured on Alexandrian provincial bronzes. |
