The effigy is executed in the typical provincial hammered style of Achaean coinage, with the laureate wreath rendered in low relief. A partially legible Latin legend runs around the obverse field, reading IMP CAES TRA[---], identifying the emperor as Imperator Caesar Traianus Hadrianus. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with circulation coinage of this colonial mint. |
