Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial Roman style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic features with a laurel wreath crown. A Greek legend surrounds the effigy along the border of the flan, identifying the emperor by his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, as is typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period.

Reverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, the syncretic Greco-Egyptian deity depicted wearing the characteristic modius (kalathos) atop his head, as customary in Alexandrian iconography. The bust is rendered in the provincial style typical of Flavian-era Egyptian coinage. The Greek date legend is placed in the field, recording the regnal year of issue. The reverse fabric is irregular and somewhat flat, consistent with the hammered technique of Alexandrian bronze coinage.
