| Obverse description | Draped bust of the personified Roman Senate facing right, depicted with curly hair and wearing a paludamentum. The legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ (Sacred Senate) encircles the bust within the field. The portrait is rendered in the typical provincial style of Asia Minor under Philip I, with a dotted border visible at the coin's periphery. |

| Reverse description | Tyche of Laodicea standing left in full figure, draped, wearing a turreted crown, holding in her extended right hand a small statuette of Zeus Laodiceus and cradling a cornucopia in her left arm. The reverse legend ΛΑΔΙΚΕΩΝ ΝΕΩΚΟΡ (of the Laodiceans, neocorate) is distributed around the field, attesting to the city's prestigious title of neocorate. The design is framed by a beaded border, characteristic of Phrygian civic bronzes of the mid-third century. |
