附加信息	Hieropolis in Phrygia — not to be confused with the better-known Hierapolis near Pamukkale — was a minor civic mint operating under the Apamean conventus, the Roman administrative district centered on Apamea Kibotis. Its coinage under Elagabalus reflects the brief window between his proclamation by the Syrian legions in 218 and his murder in Rome four years later, a reign so politically chaotic that provincial mints often lagged behind official imperial titulature. VI#5618 is sparsely represented in major collections.
