The legend is divided between the upper and lower fields, with ΔΡΟΥ ΚΛΑΥ ΓΕΡ(Μ) arching above and ΑΝΤΩΝΙΑ inscribed below the busts. This reverse type honours the parents of Claudius, reflecting dynastic piety characteristic of early Claudian provincial coinage.
