| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, depicted with characteristic beard and radiate laurel wreath. The portrait displays the emperor's effigy in the Roman provincial style typical of Alexandrian coinage, with drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. The surrounding field bears a Greek legend reading the imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, and the coin shows heavy green patination consistent with its Egyptian provenance and age. |

| Reverse description | The Agathodaemon serpent depicted erect and rearing to the right, its head crowned with the double crown of Egypt (skhent), symbolising good fortune and the protective spirit of Alexandria. The serpent's coils entwine a stalk of grain and a poppy, emblematic of Alexandrian agricultural abundance and the cult of Serapis. A regnal year numeral appears in the field. The reverse composition is characteristic of Alexandrian provincial bronzes of the Antonine period, rendered in bold but somewhat worn relief. |
