The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Troas, with the head shown in three-quarter rear view. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field, reading Π ϹΕΠΤΙ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑΙ. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic dark green patina consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |
