Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, depicted from behind, with paludamentum visible over the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Troas, with the head shown in three-quarter rear view. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field, reading Π ϹΕΠΤΙ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑΙ. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show characteristic dark green patina consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
