| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Pertinax facing right, draped and cuirassed, portrayed in the provincial Alexandrian style characteristic of the period. The effigy displays the emperor's mature features with a short beard. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor in full imperial titulature, running around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits the irregular, somewhat thick flan typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the late 2nd century CE. |

| Reverse description | An erect uraeus serpent faces right at center, its hood spread, crowned with the solar disk flanked by cow horns — a composite crown combining solar and Hathorian iconography. The design is a distinctly Alexandrian religious type, blending Egyptian and Greco-Roman iconographic traditions.
