| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare head of Lucius Verus facing right, depicted in the provincial style typical of Pontic civic coinage. The effigy shows the emperor's characteristic features with short beard and close-cropped hair. A partial Greek legend runs along the upper border within a beaded outer circle, partially visible as ]ΝΕΙΝΟϹ, representing the abbreviated imperial titulature. The flan is irregular, as typical of provincial bronze issues of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Draped bust of Mithras to right, wearing a radiate Phrygian cap, the solar deity venerated in the Pontic region and closely associated with the city of Trapezus. To the right of the bust appears the forepart of a horse, a symbol connected with Mithraic iconography and local cult practice. The encircling Greek civic legend identifies the issuing authority of Trapezus. The reverse composition reflects the strong indigenous religious traditions of Pontus under Roman imperial rule. |
