| Descrizione del rovescio | Tetrastyle temple depicted in three-quarter perspective, with a triangular pediment surmounted by an acroterion, four columns on a stepped podium (krepidoma), and the xoanon of Artemis Ephesia standing frontally within the intercolumniation. The cult statue is shown in the characteristic mummy-like form with multiple breast ornaments. The ethnic legend ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ appears in the lower exergual area beneath the temple steps. |
