Obverse description Draped bust of Faustina II facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and drawn up at the back in the characteristic Antonine fashion. The effigy is rendered in profile with drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΦΑΥϹΤΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ ('Faustina Augusta') runs around the periphery of the flan, partially legible due to wear and the coin's irregular edge.
