| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate head of the emperor Vespasian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The portrait displays characteristic features of Vespasian's iconography, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. A circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan, naming the emperor in the accusative case. The flan is irregular, as is common for hammered provincial bronzes of this period. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Amorium, a Phrygian city of modest regional standing, issued bronze coinage under local magistrates whose names survive almost nowhere else in the epigraphic record. Antonios Longes, named in the legend, served as the civic magistrate overseeing this issue — one of the few surviving attestations of his office. Such provincial bronzes from the Conventus of Synnada were struck entirely for local exchange, never circulating beyond a tight regional radius.
