The regnal year date L ΙΓ (year 13 of Antoninus Pius) appears in the field, divided to either side of the figure. The design reflects the strong syncretism of Greco-Roman and indigenous Egyptian iconographic traditions characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The flan is irregular with a green patina consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the period. |
