Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Mysian civic coinage. The portrait displays characteristic features of the emperor with a short beard, the laurel wreath clearly indicated atop the head. A dotted border encircles the flan. The Greek imperial titulature legend runs around the periphery of the field.

Reverse description The Egyptian deity Sarapis enthroned, seated facing left upon an ornate throne, wearing the distinctive kalathos (modius) atop his head. The god extends his right arm forward over Cerberus, the three-headed guardian of the underworld, who crouches at his feet to the left. In his left hand, Sarapis holds a long sceptre. The reverse legend naming the strategos Quartus, in his second term of office, and the city of Pergamum is distributed around the field.
