Obverse description Laureate or bare head of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Mysian civic coinage. The imperial effigy is depicted with characteristic facial features of the Antonine dynasty, including a short beard and softly modelled hair. The encircling Greek legend partially frames the portrait in the field. The flan is irregular and the strike slightly off-centre, consistent with provincial hammered coinage of the mid-second century AD.
