The Greek legend ΔΟΜΕΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΓΕΡΜ (Dometianus Caesar Germanicus) encircles the effigy, partially legible around the periphery of the flan. The die-work reflects the local engraving tradition of Tiberias under the authority of Agrippa II. |
