The surface shows no intentional design elements, die engraving, or legends, and appears to have been struck from a plain or lightly worked reverse die. Scattered patches of mineral encrustation and cuprite are visible across the field. The featureless reverse is typical of small-denomination æ units from this region and period, where only the obverse carried a symbolic design. |
