| Beschrijving voorzijde | Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Leo I facing right, rendered in the late antique style characteristic of fifth-century Eastern Roman coinage. The effigy displays a string of pearls forming the diadem across the brow, with drapery and cuirass visible at the shoulder.
