Reverse description Two facing Victories standing, each holding a wreath above a central votive shield inscribed VOT V MVLT X, resting on a low column or altar. The composition closely imitates the official Magnentius reverse type struck at Ambianum (Amiens). The execution is barbarous, with schematic rendering of the figures and garbled legend. Exergue contains a degenerate mint mark derived from the Ambianum officina signature. The overall style is consistent with Germanic imitative production of the late 4th to early 5th century.
