| Opis awersu | Central field occupied by an ornate interlaced ligature of two Georgian Mtavruli letters Ⴃ and Ⴇ (DT, monogram of Davit), the inner letter Ⴇ nested within the outer Ⴃ, rendered in bold relief. Surrounding the monogram is a four-line Persian legend disposed in the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded (dotted) circle border characteristic of medieval Georgian coinage of the Mongol-suzerain period. |

| Opis rewersu | Four-line Persian inscription fills the entire field, recording the mint name and the Hijri date AH 645 (AD 1248). The legend is struck in bold naskh-style Arabic script and occupies the full flan without a border, consistent with the irregular hammered fabric typical of Georgian copper issues struck under Mongol overlordship at the Tiflis mint. |
