Obverse description Helmeted head of Heracles facing right, wearing the characteristic Corinthian helmet adorned with a crest rendered in fine detail. The portrait is executed in archaic Greek style with carefully modelled facial features, the helmet visor raised to reveal the deity's profile. The flan shows the characteristic irregular fabric typical of early Macedonian bronze coinage of this period.
