Reverse description Central cartouche containing a three-line Arabic legend giving the royal invocation, mint name, and AH date, all enclosed within a decorative border. The uppermost line bears a Shia invocation to Karim, the second line records the mint as Ganja, and the third line provides the AH regnal date. The decorative border surrounding the cartouche distinguishes this face from the plainer obverse treatment. The overall style is consistent with Zand-period provincial coinage struck at the Ganja mint under Muhammad Hasan Khan.
