Reverse description Central Arabic legend incorporating the mint name and AH date, positioned within a rayed sun motif and enclosed by a decorative border of pellets or floral ornaments. The mint name Shamakhi (شماخ) appears above the hijri date, consistent with the struck years AH 1228–1235. The field shows the irregular striking characteristic of hammered provincial coinage, with the border design framing the central inscription on the uneven flan.
