| Description du revers | Central field bears the Shi'ite Kalima in nastaliq script, arranged in multiple horizontal lines across the coin face. The primary legend reads the Islamic profession of faith followed by the affirmation of Ali as the Wali of God. On some specimens, the names of the Twelve Imams are inscribed along the outer marginal legend, encircling the central Kalima text. The hand-hammered strike results in variable legend clarity and slight flan irregularity. The calligraphic execution is characteristic of mid-18th century Afsharid mint production. |
