| Obverse description | Central field displays the royal legend in bold nastaliq calligraphy, arranged in multiple lines within a plain or lightly decorated border. The mint name and regnal date appear in the lower register, typically positioned along the bottom line of the inscription panel. The hand-hammered flan produces an irregular planchet edge characteristic of Afsharid-period coinage, with the legends occasionally partially off-flan due to the striking method. The overall design follows the Afsharid epigraphic tradition, with the script executed in a bold, fluid style. |
