| Obverse description | Wreathed head of Demeter facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style. The goddess is depicted wearing a grain wreath, a characteristic attribute identifying her as the deity of the harvest. The portrait occupies the central field of this small, irregularly shaped flan, with the low-relief modeling typical of Olbian bronze coinage of the period. The surface shows the characteristic dark patina and flan irregularities common to this series. |
