The denomination '80' appears in ornate cartouches at left and right, with 'Pfennig' inscribed vertically within each, flanked by foliate branch ornaments. The title 'Notgeld der Gemeinde Westerhorn' is set in blackletter script at the top, followed by 'Amtsbezirk Hörnerkirchen' in a smaller line; below, the expiry notice reads 'Dieser Schein verliert seine Gültigkeit am 31.
